Our bunnyheads are inspired by and based on the work of Ray Johnson and his New York Correspondence School, a loosely-knit group of friends, acquaintances, and strangers with whom Johnson shared mail art. Johnson, a collage and correspondence artist, populated his work with bunnyhead drawings; often, in notices for meetings of the NYCS, Johnson would draw grids of nearly identical bunnyheads with the names of the invitees below.

We continue where he left off by handcrafting bunnyheads out of linen, and sending them through the mail.
